Loved fishing with Capt Brad I have to say, this was one of the most professional organizations I have experienced. Booking was easy and customer support answered all my questions. Even when I remembered them and called back hours later! :) What was recommended was an afternoon trip with Capt Brad. I chose the 6 hour trip because I didn't think 4 hours would be long enough. The day before, Capt Brad called to confirm and made me aware of potential winds for our trip. I appreciated the heads up. He also recommended that we fish with shiners, because the artificial bite was really tough. I agreed with his recommendation and shiners it was. The morning of, Brad called me and told me that he had just come in from his morning trip and the fishing was slow. None of the other guides were doing very good and his clients had only caught 3 Bass. He said with the wind and the way the weather was, he wanted to make sure we still wanted to go out. Personally, my hat's off to him for making sure we didn't feel like he was just out to get our money. He was genuinely concerned about how our trip was going to go and wanted it to be a good one. Getting to the dock was a bit of a challenge. GPS asked us to turn on Lakeview Drive and due to some recent road work, that turn was no longer available. After a short map review and 3 turns later, we were at the marina. Met up with Capt Brad and headed out. From then on, it was like we were all one family on a fishing trip! We laughed, cut-up and spoke like we had known each other all our lives. That made my family feel very "at-home" with Brad. We got on fish and caught about 15 total (including a pickerel). Despite the wind and the sun going in and out, we had a great time. The only complaint I have is the trip back to the dock was really cold LOL! But that has nothing to do with the Capt... All in all, we had a great time and 2 members of my family caught their biggest bass ever! Totally worth every penny and we be seeing Brad again soon.
