Florida Fishing Five Species on the Lake Ida Chain of Lakes

Florida Fishing Five Species on the Lake Ida Chain of Lakes

Florida Fishing Five Species

There are not many places where you can experience Florida Fishing Five Species. Fishing is one of the best outdoor activities you can explore whether alone or with family or friends.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Michael traveling from Pennsylvania. He wanted to come explore Lake Ida and get hooked up with some quality peacock bass.

A massive cold front moved into South Florida this fall which really could have hurt the fishing. On this trip, it made it even more excited. Additional storms and 17 mph wind cut this action pack trip short but we made the best out of it.

It is not every day that you can experience a fishing trip like this one. Michael caught 5 different species of fish. He caught over 25 fish that included peacock bass, largemouth bass, mayan cichlid, speckled catfish and the clown knife fish.

Michael and I had a really great time out on the water. I am looking forward to fishing with him again in December. It will be another adventure where we create more memories one fish at a time.

Great Okeechobee City Fishing Experience with Lake Okeechobee Bass Guide

Great Okeechobee City Fishing Experience with Lake Okeechobee Bass Guide

Okeechobee City Fishing Experience

Florida Fishing is one of the best outdoor activities you can experience when living or traveling here. A great Okeechobee City Fishing Experience can help you fall in love with largemouth bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Tammy Sue and her husband Tony. They were traveling from Fort Pierce for some of this Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing action. We launched out of the North End of the lake at Garrads bait and tackle.

It was a slow bite to start the day. The full moon definitely played to that bite being slow. After moving around a bit to multiple different spots, we came up to a decent little pocket holding fish.

Tammy Sue and Tony were excited to put 20 fish in the boat on their short trip out. The biggest largemouth bass weighed 4.5 pounds. Tammy Sue caught most of the fish and was excited to do so. According to Tony, this is what normally happens.

I am looking forward to fishing with them again in the future. They truly were great people to fish with. Next time, we will create more and new memories, one fish at a time.

Come Catch Yours with Captain Mike Groshon on Lake Okeechobee.

Big Numbers Catching Lake Okeechobee Bass on Two Day Fishing Excursion

Big Numbers Catching Lake Okeechobee Bass on Two Day Fishing Excursion

Two Day Fishing Excursion

Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing is one of the most exciting things you can experience especially with a group of long time friends. Don’t miss out on a Two Day Fishing Excursion this time of year for some great times on the water.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Bruce and Bob on a two boat fish trip for two days. Captain Robert Alfano had two of their great friends Tom and Mitch.

Weather conditions were perfect for both days. Winds were blowing out of the North and the water clarity was about 15 inches. A proper blowing wind can really set up perfect trips on Lake Okeechobee.

Over the course of two days, they caught over 60 fish. It was one of their better days bass fishing catching fish up to 4 pounds.

One of the best aspects of the trip was their personalities. They could leave you with stitches laughing so hard.

I am looking forward to them fishing with us again where we can create more memories one fish at a time. Season is coming up and you really don’t want to miss out on the action.

Come Catch Yours with Captain Mike Groshon on Lake Okeechobee.

Two Florida Fishing Trips Catching Big Bass on Lake Okeechobee

Two Florida Fishing Trips

Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing is turning on as we speak. The big bass that you have been waiting for are getting ready for that time of year. Two Florida Fishing Trips can keep you excited for what is to come.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Tom McCartney and Mitch Skop traveling from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. It was a two boat trip with Captain Mike Groshon who fished with Bruce and Bob.

We went out for two days out of the North end of Lake Okeechobee. The Florida bass fishing has been fantastic and is only about to begin.

Tom and Mitch had a great first day boating over 35 largemouth bass. The biggest bass weighed 6.5 pounds with several others in the 4 to 5 pound range.

Day 2 was also really great. The group together boated 100 fish with the biggest again being 6.5 pounds and another weighing 5 pounds. You can’t beat this action on Lake Okeechobee.

Largemouth bass are beginning to move in big time especially with the changes in weather we are experiencing. The colder to hotter weather are really turning the bite on full throttle.

We had great time fishing with this group and Tom and Mitch were awesome people to fish with. Come on down to Lake Okeechobee and don’t miss out on your adventure today.

Come Catch Yours with Captain Robert Alfano on Lake Okeechobee.
